The Night of the Presidents Heads - Easter Weekend

Visiting the iconic Presidents Heads during the day can be an exhilirating experience. But being present amongst all 42 of these decaying relics in the dark of the night can be feel otherwordly and downright spooky. Don't miss this opportunity to experience this spooky and unique environment at night with local rural explorers Fred Schneider and John Plashal. You will be escorted to the area of the Heads for a game of Presidential Trivia - followed by a guided walking tour throughout the collection of the derelict busts, learning fascinating and often untold stories about several of our former Presidents- surrounded by the comfort of an outdoor fire.

NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE "EVENING PHOTO SHOOT & LIGHT PAINTING WORKSHOP". THIS IS A FLASHLIGHT TOUR AND STORYTELLING SESSION IN THE DARK. NO TRIPODS ARE ALLOWED.

FAQs

Where will the event be held? The event will be held at the Presidents Heads, which are located at Hampton Roads Materials at 8212 Croaker Rd. in Williamsburg, Va.

What should I bring to the event? CLOTHES THAT WILL KEEP YOU WARM! THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THAT THE NIGHTTIME TEMPS WILL BE IN THE 30'S OR 40'S. Also, please bring a flashlight and footwear that can get wet or muddy. A folding chair would be a good idea if you would like to sit down while listening to the speakers.

NO TRIPODS OR DRONES ARE ALLOWED. Hand held SLR and cell phone photography IS allowed. Please don't confuse this event with the "Evening Photo Shoot & Light Painting Workshop". They are completely different. The only commonality they share is that they are both wickedly cool experiences that occur in low light.

What's the refund policy? Refunds will only be issued if the event is cancelled by the organizer, in which case a full refund will be issued. A notice of cancellation will be issued no later than 48 hours prior to the beginning of the event. BE CERTAIN OF YOUR INTENT TO ATTEND BECAUSE REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED - WITH NO EXCEPTIONS- UNLESS THE EVENT IS CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER.

Are there bathrooms on the property? Yes. There are 2 portable toilets on the property.

I would like to spend the night locally after the event to avoid driving late at night. What are my options? Williamsburg is 10 minutes away with lodging options that match any budget.

Are pets allowed? Pets are NOT allowed to our nighttime events.
