‘Rhys Wynne-Jones “The Night Church Pianist” known as the homeless piano player in Penzance back in 2024 went national after using his unexpected fame to raise money for charitable causes around the UK, particularly homelessness and mental health.
After fundraising nearly £38,000, Rhys returns to Penlee this year after working with Peter Andre, winning last year’s ITV West Country Pride of Britain Regional Fundraiser of the Year and is also one of this year’s Big Issue’s Top 100 Changemakers.
Rhys plays a wide range of music from ambitious classical scores to contemporary and comedy mixing heartfelt and funny stories with hints of variety, energy and surprise.
