The Next Step: Stretch Goals! (5 wks)Looking to stretch your skills and comfort zone? Come join us for a class composed of advanced intermediate concepts, such as footwork variations, swing out variations, handling dips, and gaining empathy for the alternate role which will lead to “baby aerials” - the frog jump in tandem Charleston and other positions!
The Next Step are five week lesson series for advanced beginner and intermediate dancers. Those that are comfortable with six and eight count basic moves and the principles of leading and following are welcome to join us. Dancers that are comfortable with swingouts and Charleston will get the most benefit from this particular series.
Our class emphasizes learning in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. You do not need to sign up with a partner.
Registration includes entry to our monthly social dance, Jazz Cats Social.
Instructors: Barney Lee & Katie Tang
Location: New Westminster Secondary School - dance studio
Classes will start at 8:30pm and run until 9:40pm - please arrive by 8:20pm on the first evening to check in and sign your waiver.
