Ryan Yin – CIO, Aspoon Capital. a Hong Kong-based hedge fund specializing in long/short equity strategies focused on Greater China and investing across TMT, Consumer, and Industrial sectors. Previously, Ryan served as a Partner at Tiger Pacific Capital, where he led the research team and built up the China office, and played a key role in expanding its China A share coverage.
Yuying Gao – CIO, Banyan Alpha Investment, a quantitative hedge fund. Yuying brings over 14 years of experience in investment management. Before founding Banyan, she was a Portfolio Manager at Millennium Management, where she specialized in market-neutral strategies focused on emerging markets and China equities.
Iris Wang – CIO, TruMed, focuses on identifying high-quality, innovative healthcare companies across Asia through deep fundamental research and disciplined investing. She brings extensive experience in healthcare investing, having previously been a Partner at OrbiMed.
JP Gan – Founder, INCE Capital, investing in AI-enabled global consumer and biotech. With >40 IPOs and M&As, JP’s investments include Trip.com (NASDAQ:TCOM), CATL, Bilibili (NASDAQ:BILI), TikTok (Bytedance), Meituan-Dianping (3690.HK). A repeat Forbes Midas Lister and former Managing Partner at Qiming Venture Partners for 13 years, JP has played a key role in shaping the China venture capital landscape since the 2000s.
Boyu Hu – Founder, XVC. A seasoned entrepreneur-turned-investor with over a decade of experience identifying transformative early-stage opportunities. His portfolio includes Kuaishou (1024.HK), Weee! ($4b), and Chagee (NASDAQ: CHA), Hetao Coding, with a combined market value exceeding $100 billion.
Harry Man – Partner, MPC Investment (aka Matrix Partners China). With over 25 years of investment experience in the Chinese tech ecosystem, Harry focuses on early-stage investments in AI, deep tech, and robotics. His successful investments include Xpeng Motors (NYSE: XPEV), Didi (NYSE: DIDI), Hello Group (NASDAQ: MOMO), Unitree, VNET (NASDAQ: VNET).
Xi Cao - Founding Partner, Monolith focusing on seed and Series A investments in AI, robotics, and consumer platforms. He was the youngest person to make partner at Sequoia China, where he also established and led its seed fund. His notable investments incl Moonshot ("AI Six Tiger"), Kuaishou ($200b IPO), Unitree etc.
Wouter Gort – Partner, Hummingbird Ventures Nomads where he focuses on fund-of-funds strategies. He was Managing Director at Atomico, one of Europe’s leading venture capital firms, between 2011 and 2014. Wouter later co-founded Greyhound Capital, concentrating on growth equity investments and backing leading fintech companies including Revolut, Brex, and N26.
Gabriele Casati - Portfolio Manager, NS Partners where he manages multi-manager hedge fund portfolios, including Asian hedge fund investments. He’s also leading external long-only funds selection. With over 17 years of international hedge fund selection experience, Gabriele worked in Hong Kong as a senior hedge fund analyst at Arowana Asset Management in 2012 before returning to Geneva in 2018.
Harry Chen - Principal, IH International. IH International is a private equity firm managing €5.2bn with offices in London and New York, investing in primary and secondary funds and co-investments. Harry leads the firm’s Asia portfolio and drives global VC and buyout investments.
Ben Marlow - Investor at Galini, a single-family office investing across asset classes with a perpetual time horizon. Prior to joining Galini, Ben was with Alta Advisers Limited, one of Europe’s leading single-family investment offices, where he gained broad experience across global markets and asset classes.
Moderator
Nicolas Michel, Head of International Business at Banyan Partners, a Shanghai-based public equity value investing firm. A Swiss native and graduate of the University of Zurich and Peking University, he helps global investors access Chinese A-share opportunities and plays a key role in bridging Switzerland and China through his local network.
Nils Heise, Senior Investment Manager at Lombard Odier Investment Managers where he focuses on European venture capital and fund-of-funds strategies. He was previously Director at IH International, overseeing fund investments and portfolio allocation across private markets.
