SYNPOSIS:The world has suffered utter devastation following global nuclear war. A small population of the human race moves through space on a life ship awaiting the regeneration of the earth's resources before it can return and survive in its environment once again. This small population remains but with great imbalance and forced oppression. A young, unlikely hero emerges from the established social norms to find and inspire resistance among their people in the hopes of bringing humanity back to the people in the face of absolute erasure.
The Theatre Arts 11/12 class invites you to witness their collective creation of this dystopian, original play devised and co-written by 31 aspiring young playwrights. Guided by the facilitation of Lindsay Kyte (courtesy of PERFORM!), Connor McKechnie, and Jenn Priddle, this class has forged a world that feels fantastical and yet somehow scarily within reach.
Admission is by donation. General seating. All proceeds will go to supporting the class in their efforts to bring their show to DramaFest and The Sherbrooke Village Theatre Festival. All ages are welcome.
