Bollywood Music until the 80s was dominated by five singers. Lata MangeshKar, Asha Bhonsle, Mukesh, Mohd. Rafi and Kishore Kumar. The predominant singers in the 90s were Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and Anuradha Paudwal. Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal have dominated the new millennium but there have been other fine singers.
Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, KK, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Mika Singh, Monali Thakur, Sukhvinder Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Mohit Chauhan, Mamta Sharma Ankit Tiwari are some names that come to mind.
ICC Music Club meets once a month in ICC Milpitas, usually on the 4th Friday. It is an Open Mic event and entry is free for ICC members and non-members.
