Course Description:The landscape of digital dentistry is rapidly changing… While we still can manufacture in-office restorations and send cases to the lab, an entire new subset of applications has become readily available for general dentist and specialist. In this presentation, we will discuss multiple ways in which we can utilize some of these advancements to deliver better patient care. We will dive heavily into cloud solutions and 3D printing to show how dentists can use digital scans for applications outside of simply creating restorations. We will discuss methods of opening up your scanners to do what they do best… SCAN and design/manufacture via workstations. We will also discuss how to use wireless scanners within this workflow to increase both dentist and staff efficiency.

• How can 3D printing fit into an everyday practice with a focus on models, splints, guides, provisionals, and the new denture workflow

• Wireless scanners and how you can use them in your workflow to increase efficiency
• ROI and the economics of investing in technology
