We are thrilled to welcome bestselling author and activist Laura Bates to Exeter Library for an evening discussing her latest book, The New Age of Sexism: How the AI Revolution is Reinventing Misogyny. Founder of the Everyday Sexism Project, Laura Bates will explore the seismic shifts that artificial intelligence is creating in society, how emerging technologies enable the spread of disinformation, and what this means for women and marginalised groups.
This timely and thought-provoking talk will examine the intersection of technology, power, and gender inequality in the digital age.
Tickets are £6 for library members and £10 for non-members, available from Exeter Library or via Ticket Source.
The event will take place on the ground floor of Exeter Library, with an accessible toilet available on the same floor. There will also be a bar serving soft drinks and alcohol. Doors open from 7:00pm.
