I’m Karen Vitello—Transpersonal Educator, Oracle, Spiritual Guide, and Reiki Master Teacher—here to guide you into a deeper awareness of your physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies.
Your life force is divine and holds the power to create transformative change in this world. However, if your consideration and love does not extend to self first, it is incomplete and unsustainable. What is Reiki?
Reiki is an energy healing practice that promotes relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being. It involves a practitioner channeling universal life force energy through their hands, body, and energy field to the recipient or group, either through light touch or at a distance. Reiki works to restore balance to the body, mind, and spirit, supporting the body’s natural healing processes and fostering a sense of peace and harmony.

Overall, Reiki is a powerful practice that invites individuals to surrender, relax, and receive, leading to a profound transformative experience.
Through a brief guided exercise, Karen will invite you to drop into the body. From there, she will channel Reiki to the group, at times circulating throughout working on individuals with some light music in the background. Your only job is to bring loving presence to the self, melt into the mystery, and allow yourself to receive.

7:00 - Arrive, Build Nest, Get Cozy
7:15 - Opening Circle, Intentions, Guided Exercise
7:30 - Surrender, Rest, Receive Reiki
8:20 - Shares, Closing Circle
8:40 - Integration, Hang Time, Clean Up
9:00 - Goodbye! See you next time!
What to bring:
-Water Bottle
-Nest Supplies
-Mat
-Pillow
-Cozy Blanket
-Anything else you need to make a cozy nest on the floor. You can even bring an anti-gravity lounge chair if that feels more comfortable for you.
Optional:
-Journal and Pen
-Light snack for yourself or to share with the group for after.
What to wear:
-Comfy clothes that make you feel good and you can lay on the floor in.
-Dress in layers as temperature may vary throughout.
Rules:
-No drugs or alcohol
-No shoes
-No conversation during practice (plenty of time to chat after)
-Honor the boundaries of yourself, one another, and of the space itself
Recommendations:
-Bring lots of water for after
-If you can, come on an empty stomach or eat light if you have to. Sometimes energy work can stir up the tummy.
-Don’t worry about what you’re going to look like, bring ANY and ALL cozy items that you would like to make your Nest the best! You can even come in your PJs if you want! BE COZY!
My Why:
I created this event for those that want to experiment with receiving reiki, for those that desire to connect with community, and for those who cannot afford a private session. I look forward to sharing this healing work with you.

Parking:
Plenty of parking in the back. Follow your GPS directions for 134 Elm St, Cheshire, CT. Once you pull into the driveway, drive down the little hill to the back of the building. Park closer to the building. Walk past the Re-Read Bookstore on your left until you see the big staircase. Go up the stairs and make a U-turn and you will see the double glass doors for The Reading Room. If you need an accessible entrance, you can park in the upper lot near the Academy Road entrance. See you there!
