The NASW Code of Ethics: A Social Worker’s Ethics Primer

Join us on February 6, 2025 for the In-Person Ceu Event hosted by the NASW-SC Catawba Unit. Aubrey L. Sejuit, PhD, LISW-CP, LPC-A, MEd and Jackie Carson, LMSW will present on The NASW Code of Ethics: A Social Worker's Ethics Primer. 2 SW Ethic Hours Awarded!

Workshop Desciption: It is important that all social workers act in an ethical manner. One way to ensure that ethics are being practiced is through understanding the basics. This presentation serves as a primer which will re-introduce social workers to both the NASW Ethical Principles and NASW Code of Ethics while also looking at SC LLR policies that affect licensure. Participants will look at current Board Orders from the SC LLR as we discuss the implications of acting in an unethical manner.
