emily the band is a three-piece queer girl group based in central Illinois. Although they officially became a band in 2021, the love story between Emily Antonacci, Camryn Proctor, and Abbey Haste began in their teens. After meeting in high school and becoming musical collaborators, the trio realized they were platonic soulmates. Now, they get to spend their early twenties sharing their indie alt-pop anthems with audiences in Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, Nashville, and beyond.

Kansas City singer songwriter Liney Blu writes from a unique place of personal experience and identity. Liney vividly shows us how vulnerability is strength and requires us to see love, frustration, disappointment and humor through lenses we may not have considered. Every song finds Liney passionately and sometimes bravely exploring a broader, more inclusive understanding of the human experience while letting us into some sacred personal spaces to do so. And while many listeners are just finding Liney Blu, They set out on her path as a songwriter and artist as a teenager.�
Herra’s Drag Menagerie is CU’s most delicious drag open stage on the 1st and 3rd Saturday night at 9pm!
