George Gershwin was one of the most significant and prolific composers of all time. Of course, he’s known for his work on Broadway, but just as significant and relevant were his orchestral and piano compositions in which he blended, in varying degrees, the techniques and forms of classical music with the stylistic nuances of popular music and jazz.
Broadway Star, JULIET EWING returns to The Strand, so much a fan of the Gershwin songbook that she created her own cabaret show around it. Now, she’s thrilled to collaborate with us on a more expansive exploration of Gershwin’s iconic works.
