The music of Duke Ellington

The 16-piece jazz orchestra, Harmony In Harlem, returns to St Andrew's Street Baptist Church in Cambridge, for a fresh performance of our vibrant foot-tapping swing, exotica and jazz from the great composers Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. We are pleased to be part of this year's Cambridge Jazz Festival fringe. Doors open at 7:00pm.

Harmony In Harlem plays authentic Ellington and Strayhorn researched by musical director Michael Kilpatrick, with an international reputation on his work, from original manuscripts and recordings. This repertoire is therefore unique among jazz orchestras, and the decidated personnel of the orchestra, from Cambridge and the wider eastern region, perform to a high standard.
