Join us this Memorial Day for one of the most meaningful workouts of the year: The Murph.Murph is a Hero workout created to honor Lt. Michael P. Murphy, a Navy SEAL who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2005. He was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his bravery during Operation Red Wings. Every year, gyms and athletes around the world complete this workout to remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.
The Workout:
• 1 Mile Run
• 100 Pull-Ups
• 200 Push-Ups
• 300 Air Squats
• 1 Mile Run
(Partitioned however you choose, and scalable for all fitness levels.)
At Magic City Barbell, Murph isn’t about being the fastest — it’s about coming together as a community, pushing ourselves, and honoring those who gave everything for our freedom. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or trying your first Murph, this event is for everyone. We will provide scaling options so anyone can participate.
Expect a powerful morning filled with sweat, support, and community. We’ll cheer each other on, remember why we do this workout, and finish stronger together.
