The Murph Challenge is an annual nationwide fitness and fundraising event held around Memorial Day to honor the legacy of Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Murphy and the sacrifice of all fallen service members. Participants complete the Hero Workout “Murph”—a demanding combination of a mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air squats, and another mile run—either individually or as a team, often while wearing a weighted vest. More than a workout, the challenge serves as a living memorial, uniting civilians, veterans, and active-duty service members in a shared act of remembrance and respect. Through registration and participation, athletes directly support the LT Michael P.
