The trip is an invitation to look at fasting from a different angle ... an opportunity to pause and experience Ramadan away from gatherings, excess food and TV etc.
For 2 days / 1 night we explore Ramadan in the sacred city of Saint Catherine and take a chance to slow down and enjoy stillness (Adapted for fasting).
Leaving Cairo - 06 March 9:00AM
Returning to Cairo - 08 March 02:00AM
Itinerary;
Move at 9 am from Cairo,
Reach St. Catherine town
Start to walk at 3:30 for one hour
Iftar and Maghrib prayer at 6 pm
Isha and Taraweeh 8 pm – 10 pm
Reflection circle from 11 pm till fajr (Guided by one of the team)
Fajr / Suhoor / Sunrise
Wake up and move towards St. Catherine town after Asr,
Iftar at Fox camp
Move to Cairo to arrive 1 am / 2 am
