The Motowners are an amazing Motown Tribute Band performing an array of Motown’s Greatest Hits. Their repertoire is extensive covering such groups as The Temptations, The Four Tops, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, Martha & The Vandellas, Mary Wells and more. The artist’s collective talent includes fine vocals and precision moves featuring a variety of lead vocals. The Motowners have performed on the same stage as national artists and as well as performed before high profile individuals such as First Lady Michelle Obama. The Motowners’ shows are nostalgic, classic, upbeat and inspire singing along and dancing. “Once you see a Motowners Show, you can’t wait to see them again”, said by many. They bring back memories of times past and leave you with a happy feeling.
PERFORMER BIO:
The Motowners Motown Tribute Show was formed by Derrick Hadley, President of Motowners, Inc. and Vice President of Black Swan Special Events, parent company and in partnership with President Revella Hadley, his wife. The group has been in existence since 2005 and has progressed to a full Show production featuring the Motowners Men and Ladies singing classic Motown Songs and more.
The Motowners have performed as the sole act on numerous major stages and performing arts theaters as well as toured throughout the south and other states. They have performed on the same stage with national artists as well as performed before high profile individuals such as First Lady Michelle Obama. The Motowners’ shows receive positive reviews and their consistency in delivering “authentic” Motown sounds and decorum contribute to their frequently sold out shows.
The Motowners’ Shows are nostalgic, classic, upbeat and inspire singing along and dancing. “Once you see a Motowners Show, you can’t wait to see them again! They bring back memories of times past and leave you with a happy feeling”, said by many.
The Motowners Ultimate Motown Tribute Show Experience is their most requested and popular show complete with professional singers, dazzling costumes, and precision choreography accompanied by a Motown vibe band. The group consists of five male singers, three female singers; and six musicians. Different performance configurations can be designed for any type of event.
The Motowners will transport you back to a wonderful time of amazing hit songs and soulful classics when Motown records changed the music scene in America. The Motown Sound is the most significant musical accomplishment of African Americans in the 20th century. It changed our society, captivated nationally diverse audiences, and thrilled us all. The illustrious Motown years dominated the airwaves with hundreds of hit songs and superstar music artists. The Motowners aim is for their audience to enjoy and reminisce on the beauty of the music and to recapture the feelings associated with the songs during their live performances.
While Derrick Hadley desired to produce a premier Motown Tribute Show, he realized he would need the most dynamic and powerful vocalists with a syncopated tight rhythm section capable of capturing the grooves of songs by major stars of Motown – The Temptations, The Four Tops, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, The Marvelettes, Stevie Wonder and more.
The Motowners have proficient singers and musicians that can perform an array of Motown’s Greatest Hits and other popular R&B and disco classic songs leaving a memorable impression. The Motowners are not just a Show, but an entertainment production show!
