There are toys under the table, tea going cold, unfinished sketches, children running between artworks, and mothers trying to hold onto a thought before it disappears.

Inside the mothership studio at Stryx in the Jewellery Quarter, art doesn't happen away from motherhood. It happens in the middle of it.

Messy. Tender. Interrupted. Real.

The Mothership Exhibition was created to support the professional development of artist mothers and creatives, offering time, space childcare support, and a community that allows women to reconnect with their creative practices while raising children.
