The Moth StorySLAM

An open-mic storytelling competition in which anyone can share a true, personal, 5-minute story on the night's theme.
About this Event

Domino Park is partnering with The Moth for two special storytelling events this summer! On Sunday, June 28th (2-4pm) we’ll host a storytelling workshop where experienced instructors will introduce the basics of Moth-style storytelling and help participants begin crafting their own personal story.

Then, on Wednesday, July 8th at 7:00pm, join us at Domino Square stage for an open-mic Moth StorySLAM! Come to enjoy the show or for the chance to put your name in the hat to tell a 5-minute story on our theme, You Know the Place - stories about the places that bring us together and keep us coming back. Stories begin at 7:00pm ET.

The Moth Community StorySLAM is a project of the Moth Community Engagement Program, meant to create a welcoming space for hearing and sharing stories. Registration is free and stories are not judged or scored.
