THE MOTH seen HEREThe Moth StorySLAM is an open-mic storytelling competition in which anyone can share a true, personal, 5-minute story on the nights theme. Sign up for a chance to tell a story or sit back and enjoy the show! Tonights theme is This months themeDIDASTERPIECEPrepare a five-minute story about a failure so epic, it became a work of art. A magnificent misfire. A glorious flop. Throwing spaghetti at the wall and failing upward. That last-minute improvisation that was mistaken for genius, so you just went with it. Whether its a community rallying after a natural disaster, a seeming setback that unexpectedly changed your life for the better, or an April Fools prank that sparked a reconciliation paint us your disasterpieces! DOORS: 6PMSHOW: 7PMTickets for Chicago StorySLAMs go on sale 3 weeks prior to the show date at 3 PM ET. Seating is not guaranteed and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before the show. Admission is not guaranteed for late arrivals. All sales final. As many as 10 tickets may be available at the door for all of our StorySLAMs on a first-come, first-served basis.Grab dinner before the show at BABYGOLD BARBECUEOr enjoy full service dining inside the club when doors open.***PARKING***There is rather limited street parking in the area, we recommend arriving by rideshare, bicycle, or rickshaw. This event is 21 and over. Any ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 21 years of age will not be admitted to this event, and will not be eligible for a refund. Thank you for purchasing a ticket to FITZGERALDS! If you selected Will Call, you'll check in at the entrance when doors open for the show. Please have an ID ready. If the event is General Admission, there is no Reserved Seating. Under 21 ok if accompanied by parent or guardian. Tickets are NOT mailed to you unless you select delivery. All Tickets are Non-Refundable. All Tickets are Non-Transferrable. A NON-REFUNDABLE service charge will be added to the purchase price of each ticket - in the instance of a show cancellation, this fee will not be returned. Parking is available on the street with no permit restrictions or meters; DO NOT park in business or mini-mall lots or you will be towed. NO Filming or Audio Recording without written consent from the performing artist Outside food and/or drink is not allowed.
