A meteor, named “Meteor Ramona”, is set to destroy the world in ten hours. Two couples decide to gather for one final dinner party before the meteor’s impact. Carrie, our host, hopes to keep people from talking about Meteor Ramona. Their partner Jo wants to help, despite her own hopes of tying the knot before impact. Their guests are Abbey and Steve; Abbey, hopes to have a calm dinner with those she cares about, her boyfriend Steve hopes to get some things off his chest. Our couples hope to have a dinner to remember, and try not to let tensions further rise when Abbey’s younger brother Mike joins the party.
Will everybody be able to accomplish their goals, or will an emotional explosion occur before the actual explosion? With such little time, our guests will try to make the most of it.

At least 30 minutes before the show. Our performances start bang on time and it takes a hot second to welcome you into the building.

The Butterfly Club is a licensed venue. Accordingly, patrons under 18 are only allowed on premises in the company of a parent or legal guardian.

We strongly encourage using public transport. The Butterfly Club is a short stroll from Flinders Street station and Melbourne Central, and an even shorter stroll from any tram that travels through Swanston or Collins Streets (get off at Town Hall).
