Every pub has its milestones, but some moments are worth more than the rest!On Friday, October 11th at 4 PM, McManimon’s The Monument Pub will mark such an occasion — the unveiling and first pour from our very own barrel of Horse Soldier Bourbon.

From Stradbally, Ireland, where my journey began, to Trenton, New Jersey, where it continues, I’ve always believed that a pub is more than just four walls and a bar top. It’s memory. It’s heritage. A story of friendship, heritage, and the spirit of gathering. A story we’ve chosen to seal into oak and christen with a name that means everything to us:

This barrel, to me, is a symbol of that belief. It’s not just bourbon aging in oak — it’s a tribute to the Irish patriots and rebels who never gave in. It’s a nod to the laughter that has echoed through these pub walls for decades. And it’s a promise that every glass poured carries not only bourbon, but the memory of those who’ve raised one here before.
