The Money Bunny Workshop: A Family Financial Literacy Event
About this Event
The Money Bunny Workshop
A Family Financial Literacy Event Hosted by St. Joseph Realty Group in Support of St. Vincent de Paul
Join St. Joseph Realty Group for The Money Bunny Workshop, a free family financial literacy event designed to help kids learn simple, practical money habits in a fun and hands-on way.
Together, we’ll read My Money Bunnies by Mike Michalowicz, talk about the basics of saving, spending, and giving, and then each child will create their own set of three Money Bunny jars to take home.
Each child will decorate three jars:
Save: for money they want to set aside for something special
Spend: for money they can use for everyday wants
Give: for money they can use to help others and practice generosity
This event is best for children ages 4–10, but all children ages 4 and up are welcome. A parent or guardian must stay with children for the duration of the event.
This event is free to attend, but registration is required so we can prepare enough supplies for each child.
We are proud to host this event in support of St. Vincent de Paul Society of North Central Indiana. Guests are invited to bring pantry items or make a financial donation to support local families in need. Donations are appreciated but not required to attend.
Each participating child will leave with:
- Three decorated Money Bunny jars
- A take-home bag
- A family handout explaining how to use the jar system at home
- Simple money tips for kids and adults
