The Miss Alternative Buffalo Beauty Pageant

Welcome to The Miss Alternative Buffalo Beauty Pageant!

The Miss Alternative Buffalo Beauty Pageant is an organization that was founded on the premise of honoring ones own recreation of their beauty after surviving abuse and trauma. We believe that anyone identifying as a woman, anyone that has been a mother, and any body size should be allowed to compete in our show.

With three division crowns to be won, we ask that those looking to compete in the pageant choose their division according to how they identify;

1. Standard Size (size 0-18)

2. Plus Size (size 20+)

3. LGBTQ+ (any size persons can enter; our hope is to have this division for those who wish to compete in full drag and identify as a drag queen for this event).

We are proud partners of the YWCA. The YWCA is an organization dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. AWARENESS + ACTION = SOCIAL CHANGE. For 112 years, the YWCA of Genesee County has supported women, children, and families in the communities needing education, financial assistance, safe spaces, and support by blazing a trail in domestic violence awareness, LGBTQ+ communities, food pantries, and human trafficking prevention agencies. The Miss Alternative Buffalo Beauty Pageant is proud to be donating portions of our proceeds to the Genesee County sector of this organization, who in turn, is using that resource to allocate funds to other districts they accompany in New York State.

Event tickets will include four hour signature beer, wine, champagne, & assorted liquor bar, access to the vendor show, seating for the YWCA Fashion Show, and seating for the Miss Alternative Buffalo Beauty Pageant. Dinner is available through the on site restaurant inside the Statler; Miltons.
