In this public lecture, we'll explore some of the most influential biases affecting human decision-making, from confirmation bias and social norms to nudges, declinism, and the gambler's fallacy. Underpinned by social psychology and behavioural science, you'll discover how these biases influence your own choices and learn why understanding them can help us make better decisions.
Your Speaker:
Dr. Brianna Le Busque is a senior lecturer at Adelaide University. She is an environmental psychology scientist and marine social scientist, who studies the most complicated species on the planet: humans. Her work sits at the intersection of people and the environment, applying her psychology and behavioural science experience to conservation.
