The Milkweed, a wild church gathering
The Milkweed is a wild church gathering where faith takes root outdoors. Like the milkweed plant itself, this community creates space for growth, resilience, and transformation. We gather in nature to explore faith beyond traditional church walls—through reflection, conversation, honest questions, and shared experience. People of all backgrounds are welcome as we seek God in the beauty and complexity of the natural world.
December 21st marks the winter solstice for us here in Indiana. Our gathering this day will include liturgy, a short story, meditation, lighting of candles. We will conclude by gathering around a campfire for some wassail. Hope to see you there!
