The annual Mercy Center fundraiser returns to New York Irish Center with the immutable Donie Carroll at the helm once more. Now named the Mick Moloney Memorial Concert, in memory of the wonderful Mick Moloney for whom the Mercy Center in Bangkok, Thailand, remained a vital touchstone of his service and devotion. The Mercy Center provides necessary shelter, food, and services to children who are stricken by poverty and homelessness. Tickets are $70 and you can arrange for a ticket/donation with Donie himself by sending an email to [email protected].
This year’s lineup features a superb bunch, including James Keane, Brendan Dolan, Liz Hanley, Don Meade, Donie Carroll, Daniel Neely, Bob Malenky, Barbara Rosica, Dan Larkin, Niall O’Leary Irish Dance Group and Brenda Castles, master of the concertina. It promises to be a great night of music!
