The Mexican Border and Humanitarian Programs

This one-session presentation is a photographic journey from

Santa Fe to the Mexican border area – mostly Ciudad Juárez and

the smaller town of Palomas to the west but also El Paso, Texas,

and Deming, New Mexico – that will highlight the people and

programs the presenter has worked with for 15 years to address

issues of health care, housing, and education for the existing

population, as well as the current situation of migrants and

migrant shelters.

Morgan Smith is a retired attorney and government official from

Colorado who has been traveling to the US-Mexico border at least

monthly to document conditions there and assist several

humanitarian organizations.
