Bay Saint Louis, MS - Oy to the world, it’s party time! 100 Men Hall is holding its 4th Annual Matzo Ball on Saturday, December 28, 2024- 6:30-8:30pm. Tickets are $20 in advance and are available at 100menhall.com. There will be food, shopping, and fabulous music by Meryl Zimmerman & the Miracles.
Holiday cheer will abound with the lighting of the Hanukkah menorah, delicious food for purchase by Chef Gene Coia – including potato latkes – and 100 Men Hall merchandise will be available for last minute holiday shopping gifts. Plus, a large matzo ball will be thrown in celebration of all winter holidays from Hanukkah, Las Posadas, Winter Solstice, Soyal, Christmas and Kwanzaa.
Meryl Zimmerman & the Miracles will be there to keep everyone dancing. Meryl has performed at venues across New Orleans including Snug Harbor, as well as Tipitina’s, The Spotted Cat, Three Muses, and Buffa’s, to name a few. She has performed at the French Quarter Festival and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. She has self-released two consecutive albums, Crystalline (2020) and A Very Meryl Christmas (2021). “… the more familiar ideas are dressed up in uncommon arrangements that take them into interesting places. The 100 Men Hall is an age-old organization that preserves culture, interprets history and gathers the community in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi. Through live music events, innovative programs, and artistic expression, the 100 Men Hall seeks to make this African American landmark accessible to visitors of all ages.
