The Mattocks - Johnson Band is opening for Vaden Landers at Hendersonville's Rhythm and Blues Festival.
The Mattocks-Johnson Band was formed when Bill Mattocks, nationally known for his vocals, harmonica and guitar, joined forces with Hendersonville’s Howie Johnson. Howie is one of the most sought-after lead guitarists in Western North Carolina and a master of the Slide Guitar. With Howie’s son Harlan Johnson on drums and Marc McDaniel on electric bass, this band performs Danceable Blues, Blues Rock, Classic Rock and original tunes.
