The Matter of Facts library workshop

Blacktown City Libraries invites you to a media literacy workshop (produced by the ABC, ALIA and WSU*), to equip communities to better identify false information.

Delivered by library staff, the workshop accompanies the new ABC 3-part docuseries The Matter of Facts, which follows former war correspondent Hamish Macdonald for a thrilling ride into the hostile frontlines of our global information. We are all navigating a digital ecosystem where truth and lies can be indistinguishable, and where information is created - at scale - to change what we believe, how we behave and who we vote for.

This workshop includes video excerpts from the docuseries, and many opportunities for discussion.
