A Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser Benefiting the Art in Public Places Junior Board

⏰ Check-in 8 AM | Play begins 9 AM | Awards 5 PM
Get your paddle ready, Wiregrass, because The Masterpiece Classic is coming!
Hosted by the Art in Public Places Junior Board, this is a one-day open mixed doubles pickleball tournament for recreational players of all skill levels. Whether you're new to the sport or a seasoned dinkmaster, this tournament is for you. Every dollar raised goes directly toward Junior Board scholarships and the APP Mural Program.
🎟️ REGISTRATION
Teams register as pairs (one man + one woman). Don't have a partner? No problem. All single players will be paired after registration, and we'll match you by August 27.
💰 Early-Bird Pricing (through August 1):
$50/person | $95/team
💰 Regular Pricing (August 2–27):
$60/person | $110/team

📋 HOW THE DAY WORKS
9 AM – 12 PM | Pool Play
Every team is placed in a pool of 4 and plays 3 games. Games to 11, rally scoring. Think of it as your warm-up lap — except everyone's watching.
11:30 AM – 1 PM | Lunch
Refuel at the Coca-Cola Dothan Hospitality Tent.
1 PM – 4:30 PM | Bracket Play
After pool play, teams are sorted into tiered brackets based on their morning record. Every team keeps playing in the afternoon — no one goes home early.
🏆 The Masterpiece Bracket — top teams from pool play
🖼️ The Gallery Bracket — middle of the pack
🎨 The Studio Bracket — everyone else
5 PM | Awards Ceremony
Champions in each bracket are recognized. Overall tournament winners take home one-of-a-kind handmade trophies.

Free parking is available at the Rip Hewes Stadium complex.
