Life is difficult. Maintaining a relationship as important and initimate as marriage takes intentionality. Whether you have been married for months or decades, this course provides the space and intentionality needed to strengthen your relationship.The Marriage Course was developed in 1996 by Nicky and Sila Lee for couples who are seeking practical support for their relationship in order to keep the spark alive and stay connected. Over seven sessions, the course covers:
Strengthening Connection
The Art of Communication
Resolving Conflict
The Power of Forgiveness
The Impact of Family
Good Sex
Love in Action
Many stewards and pastors of the Mission have participated in The Marriage Course in the past. In fact, Abbot Chris says The Marriage Course was invaluable in helping their marriage grow and thrive. Whether you've been married for six months or 20 years, The Marriage Course is a great opportunity to connect with your spouse in a real and tangible way.
The Marriage Course at the Mission will run Tuesdays beginning September 30th through November 18th and is structured like a date night with each couple sitting at individual tables for privacy. You will be provided all course materials and a catered meal.
