Feel good with live jazz at Sarah's Jazz Club on Thursday 19 February with The Marios Toumbas Trio.
Three of Cyprus' most active and popular musicians perform jazz standards: Marios Toumbas on piano, Irenaeos Koullouras on bass and Ioannis Vafeas on drums. They're joined by Special Guest Jazz Trumpeter El Haber.
Toumbas has performed in hundreds of concerts in many countries, including the Montreal Jazz Festival in Canada, the Düsseldorf Jazz Rally in Germany and the Blues North City Festival in Serbia. He has appeared at the Royal Festival Hall in London, Sun City Music Hall in Johannesburg, South Africa and Megaron Mousikis in Athens. He has been an instructor of Jazz history and improvisation at European University Cyprus since 2009.
Jazz trumpeter George El Haber was born in Cyprus in 2003. He studied trumpet and graduated from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2025. Joining forces with the Marios Toumbas Trio for the first time, this young sensation at the age of 22, will bring excitement in the group with his amazing energy and chops!
