✨ What is The Margins Club? ✨

We all leave something in the margins (thoughts, emotions, and ideas that shape who we are). The Margins Club is a social club for readers, writers, and creatives who believe that stories don’t just live in books. They live in us. It’s a space to connect over words, ideas, and the quiet moments in between.

--

Start the year with intention.

Journalling and Goal Setting Night is a social, low-pressure evening to write, plan, and reflect. Spend time working through life goals, personal plans, or reading goals for the year. You can journal freely, outline ideas, or simply sit with what you want this season to hold.

This is not a workshop and there is no structured agenda. You are not expected to share. Conversation is welcome but optional. Come to write independently, chat lightly, or do both.

In the final 30 minutes, there will be an optional opportunity for anyone who wants to talk through a goal with someone nearby. This is informal and low-pressure, with no group sharing required.

The event is hosted by The Margins Club in collaboration with KW Journalling Club. KW Journalling Club will bring a selection of shared journalling supplies for communal use. You are encouraged to bring your own journal or laptop.

P.S. Tickets Encouraged! This helps us gauge attendance and could act as a reminder for you, so it's encouraged :)

Info: People arrive, order drinks/food, and find a seat. Open seating. You can sit anywhere and you are encouraged to sit with others

🕑: 07:30 PM - 08:00 PM
Optional Socializing/Sharing Goals

Info: In the final 30 minutes, there will be an optional invitation to talk through a goal with someone nearby. Speaking goals out loud, as if they have already happened, is a practice I find grounding and motivating. You are welcome to try this with someone new or someone you know, only if you feel comfortable.
