About this Event

edit edit Workshop #5: The Many Folds of Us with Translocation Research

Bring something that has shaped how you think. An object or an image.

You'll write from it. Then pass it to the person beside you, who writes on it too. By the end, what was privately held is marked by others' readings, their gaps, their translations.

The Many Folds of Us is a two-hour gathering where meaning migrates — and we map whose influences are in the room, whose are absent, and what that tells us about access and power.

Bring something you're willing to let travel.

Doors open 12:45PM, workshop starts 1PM.

About the Organiser

Based at Hypha Studios Kentish Town, Translocation Research builds infrastructure for emerging facilitators — particularly those who are queer, migrant and diasporic — through reflexive, peer-led practice.

Kiki Zheng (she/they) is the research lead of Translocation. She works at the edges of participatory practice, ethical storytelling and creative activism.

Spencer Yu (she/they) is a collage artist and workshop facilitator integrating behavioural science into socially engaged, participatory creative practices.
