The Manhattan Skyline at "Nautical Twilight"

Understanding the uncommon quality of light at nautical twilight offers photographers the opportunity to create striking, dramatic urban images. Join nautical photographer Rich Sherman at the Hudson River shoreline to photograph sunset on the Manhattan skyline and then capture the stunning glow of city lights against a deep blue sky at nautical twilight, accented by reflections on the water. We’ll experiment with longer shutter speeds, panoramas and other creative techniques. A tripod, wide-angle and zoom lenses are required.
As we wait for the best light to fall on the Manhattan skyline, we’ll have the added bonus of starting our session inside the historic Central New Jersey Train Terminal, photographing old trains, signs, flags, and ticket windows.
