February 20th, 2026 we change the future with fashion! Welcome to The Mandala Effect, Presented by Legendary WNY Father Chasmar De Ville and WNY Mother Mando Pink Lady.

(7:00pm-8:00pm)
Mix and Mingle: This time period will consist of friendly conversations mingling with guests while having the opportunity to purchase sweets and good for sale while having refreshments.
8:00pm-10:00 pm
Showtime: This segment will obtain a visual to showcase where and what our event is focused around to then proceed with a fashion show with lines from each individual to then come together in unity to close out the show. Once the show is over with the remaining time we will make announcements and a further mix and mingle may take place.

The Mandala Effect, A fashion show and fundraiser focusing around the culture and community based around ballroom within WNY.
Tonight is more than a fashion show. It’s a gathering of community, creativity, and chosen family. We’re here to celebrate artistry—but also to invest in the spaces and people that make that artistry possible.
This show was created with purpose. Every look, every walk, every moment you’ll witness tonight is in support of WNY Ballroom, a vital part of the LGBTQ+ community that continues to create safe spaces for self-expression, growth, and survival—especially for queer and trans people of color.
For those who may be new to it, ballroom is not just an event or a competition—it’s a culture. Born from Black and Latinx LGBTQ+ communities, ballroom is a space where people who were often excluded elsewhere could be seen, celebrated, and affirmed. Through houses, chosen families led by Mothers and Fathers, ballroom provides mentorship, protection, and opportunity. Categories like fashion, runway, performance, and vogue are not just about winning trophies—they’re about storytelling, identity, and reclaiming power.
Ballroom saves lives. It builds confidence. It creates family where society has often failed to do so.
By raising funds for WNY Ballroom, we are directly supporting a community that nurtures creativity, resilience, and pride. We are helping ensure that future generations continue to have access to safe spaces where they can walk, vogue, design, perform, and exist unapologetically.
So tonight, as you watch the fashion, feel the energy, and take in the art—know that you are part of something bigger. You are contributing to a legacy of survival, beauty, and impact.
