Dear Friends, Family, and Community,It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we reach out to you in a time of unimaginable loss. The beloved husband/father and the rock of the Malone family, Daniel Malone, tragically took his own life back in May of 2024, leaving the family not only grieving his loss but also facing a financial crisis. As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly difficult time for them, especially for the three children, who are trying to make sense of the sudden absence of their father. This unexpected loss has shaken their world, and we are doing everything we can to help them navigate through both the emotional and financial challenges ahead.
In light of the emotional and financial challenges ahead, and in an effort to ease the burdens that have been placed on this family we are organizing a Spaghetti Benefit Dinner, Chinese Auction and 50/50 Raffle to help support the Malone family through this heartbreaking time. The funds raised will go toward covering individual and family therapy costs, household expenses, and the care and well-being of the boys. Our goal is to sell 500 dinners to be able to provide as much financial relief as possible. The event is set to kick off on Saturday March 29th, 2025, at the First United Presbyterian Church located in Tarentum, PA, and we would be so grateful for your attendance, support, and contributions. We invite you to join us for an afternoon of support, community, and love.
Here’s how you can help:
• Attend the Dinner: Join us for a warm meal and show your support. Tickets are only $15.00, and your presence will mean the world to us.
• Food Donations: If you are able, we would greatly appreciate any food donations to help make the dinner a success. This could include ingredients for the meal, drinks, or even desserts. Any food donation, no matter how big or small, will help alleviate some of the costs and ensure that the dinner is a warm and welcoming event for everyone.
• Donate Auction Items: We are seeking donations for our Chinese Auction, including baskets, gift cards, services, experiences, or any other items you think might be valuable. Your donation will help us raise critical funds.

Melanie and her three children are trying to navigate a world without their husband/father, and we are doing everything we can to provide for them as they heal. The support of friends, family, and community is essential to help those who suffer with mental health and suicidal ideation rebuild and move forward during these difficult times.
We understand that these are hard times for many, and we are deeply appreciative of any help you can provide, whether it’s through attending the event, donating items, or sharing a kind word.
