We are thrilled to invite you to The Second Makush Ethiopian Art Symposium Atlanta, a premier event that brings together art enthusiasts, collectors, curators, and artists from around Atlanta to celebrate and explore the rich cultural heritage of Ethiopian art.
The symposium will take place on July 26th at 5pm, at Gallery Anderson Smith, in Midtown Atlanta at 1401 Pechtree Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30309.
The Makush Ethiopian Art Symposium Atlanta, is a unique opportunity to engage with the latest trends and developments in Ethiopian art, as well as to learn from the experiences and insights of renowned artists, curators, and collectors.
Some of the highlights of the symposium include:
A Fireside Chat: Moderated by Frank Ski from V-103, radio personality and music producer, who will explore the evolution of Ethiopian art over the centuries.
Speakers include: Nati Yohannes, Makush Art Gallery Owner from Ethiopia; and others.
Authentic Ethiopian Food served by Ledat Restaurant, along with the serving of the traditional coffee ceremony.
The symposium is for those interested in veiwing and purchasing Ethiopian / African original art, and exploring the rich culture, and heritage. We encourage you to join us for an enriching experience that will broaden your knowledge and appreciation of this unique and fascinating art form.
