THE Mahoning Valley Irish Festival Relocates to Expanded Venue for Fifth Annual Festival
BOARDMAN, Ohio (July 9, 2026) — THE Mahoning Valley Irish Festival will celebrate its fifth annual event on Saturday, Aug. 15, and Sunday, Aug. 16, at its new home, St. Luke's Hall and Grounds in Boardman. The relocation provides expanded indoor and outdoor space to accommodate continued growth in attendance, entertainment, vendors, exhibitors, and community participation.
Founded in 2022, THE Mahoning Valley Irish Festival is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating Irish heritage through music, dance, food, education, and cultural traditions. The annual festival brings together residents and visitors from throughout the Mahoning Valley for a family-friendly weekend celebrating Irish culture and community.
The festival will feature continuous live entertainment throughout the weekend. Performers currently scheduled to appear include, but are not limited to:
- Burke School of Irish Dance
- Callahan & O'Connor
- Irish Brigadiers
- Seamus
- Fiddle Chicks
- County Mayo
- Achill Crossing
- Ballinloch
- Rich Patrick Trio
- Bealtaine
- Hired Hands
Additional entertainment, demonstrations, and attractions will be announced as the festival approaches.
Festival attractions also include Mass on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m., authentic Irish cuisine prepared by the Celtic Furnace Kitchen, a traditional Irish pub, Irish and Celtic merchandise, cultural exhibits, imported Irish products, and activities for all ages. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience Irish music, dance, history, food, shopping, and traditions throughout the two-day event.
Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16.
Admission is $5 for guests ages 13 and older. Children 12 and younger are admitted free. Parking is free.
"The move to St. Luke's Hall and Grounds allows us to continue expanding the festival while maintaining the welcoming atmosphere that has been part of the event since its beginning," said Tim Crowe, Chair of THE Mahoning Valley Irish Festival. "We appreciate the continued support of our volunteers, sponsors, entertainers, vendors, and the community, and we look forward to welcoming visitors for another memorable celebration of Irish heritage."
Members of the media are invited to attend the festival. Organizers are also available for advance interviews and can coordinate appearances featuring festival representatives, musicians, and dancers from the Burke School of Irish Dance.
