Let's Jump through the magical storytelling box and take a magical journey across to India on the Maharajas' Express. A train journey from across the foothills of the great Himalaya Mountains of India.
This immersive arts, dance, and storytelling performance takes children and their grown-ups on an exciting, vibrant and interactive adventure from the farmlands of Punjab, India, the jungles/forests, the markets of Delhi, across to the desert lands of Rajasthan, and to film city in Mumbai. But wait there is a twist as we go back in time (expect dinosaurs, pirates, the beach) and then back to the future, using the concept of the train making different stops.
It incorporates music, puppetry, singing, and Bhangra / Bollywood dancing to teach everyone about South Asian culture, identity, and the story of migration in a fun, engaging way.
