The Magic of Samhain Spirit Walk on Nov. 1st

Honor land spirits, ancestors, & ancient traditions with a spirit walk in the forest to mystical Standing Stone Circle for a special ritual.
About this Event

This is a powerful time to let go of the old and make space for the new, as you prepare for the darker half of the year -- this is the Pagan New Year, an ancient tradition.

Our evening begins with a light meal of seasonal food and beverages. At dusk, we head outside. As we walk over foot bridges and through the forest, we'll pause at special places to honor the land spirits and the indigenous who were here before us. When we arrive at the Standing Stone Circle, we'll gather around the fire for our special ritual including music and drumming.

Within the Standing Stone Circle is the stone Ancestor Altar, a place to honor those who have passed on. Here the veil thins and you feel pulled into silence, ritual, and reverence. Every person will have an opportunity at the altar to honor a loved one, perhaps an ancestor.

Things to know and things to put in a backpack for the forest walk:

• our group will be walking outside so bring appropriate footwear and outerwear.
• we will be sitting on the ground around the fire, so you may want to bring an old blanket to sit on.
• please bring a few small offerings for the land spirits such as a stone, a small flower, a nut, etc.
• also please consider bringing something to place at the Ancestor Altar to honor your loved one or ancestor.
• if it rains, our rituals will be inside in our beautiful gathering space.

NOTE: There are TWO dates to choose from; see other event posting for the Oct. 31st date.
