The Magic of Healing Herbs - Summer to Fall Garden Circles

These experiential and hands-on gatherings are for those who’d like to learn more about the wisdom, plant and healing properties of working with herbs, flowers, trees and wild medicinal plants.

You’ll leave this class feeling inspired, even more connected to the natural world and the healing properties of our “green allies.” In each session you’ll get to take home an herbal remedy that we made together.

Join just one session in the garden, or join for all four classes this summer to fall.

DATES OF ALL CLASSES :

5/31 - The Magic of Edible Flowers (Rose, Rose Geranium, Calendula, Chamomile, Nasturcium, Elderflower, Hawthorn)

8/1 - The Magic and Power of Mint (Peppermint, Spearmint, Lemon Balm + more)

9/13 - The Magic of Herbs for Sleep & Dream Support (Hops, Mugwort, Lavender, Chamomile)

10/18 - The Magic and Power of Medicinal Roots & Herbs for Immunity (Echinacea, Dandelion, Burdock, Horseradish, Reishi)

Note : This class will be outdoors at the White Crane Springs community garden in the Inner Sunset, so please make sure to dress accordingly with warm and cool layers as we know the weather can shift easily in the Bay Area.

This class is open to those who are curious, and want to deepen in their awareness of working with the medicine of the “green realm” in a very hands-on and experiential way. You can sign up for each class individually, or the whole series of four at a lower rate.

NOTE : Herbalism doesn’t have to be put in the place of either or - working with plants can support anything else you are doing to support your system and overall health. All of our ancestors at some point had a deep connection to the land, to the herbs and plants or green realm, to the animals and waters in order to survive. This connection to our roots and deeper belonging was severed, and it is time to reclaim the wisdom we all long for again.

About Your Guide :

Crystal Marie Higgins is an Initiated High Priestess in Celtic traditions, an Initiated Witch, as well as a Yoga Teacher, a Folk Herbalist and an Ethical Marketer. She has been in devotion to earth wisdom, the cycles of the moon and the seasons since 2012. She loves to create, to cook and share that magic with others!

Crystal’s intention is to awaken our consciousness toward the radical practice of attuning your life and the flows of your creativity to the seasons of the year, the cycles of the moon and the wisdom found in the everyday. She is a lover of the plant realm, being outdoors and engaging in sacred rituals.
