The Lustre Trio will release their studio debut album Praxis.
Opening for them will be Flora Flora & Extinct Plants and Soul Ship.
Thomas Milovac’s The Lustre Trio is an evolving improvisational jazz project rooted in Orlando’s adventurous underground music scene. Featuring Milovac alongside Zach Muth and Ashton Bailey, the trio blends free jazz, ambient textures, post-bop, noise experimentation, and cinematic improvisation into performances that feel spontaneous, atmospheric, and deeply collaborative.
Rather than functioning like a traditional jazz trio with rigid structures, The Lustre Trio operates more like a fluid sonic conversation. Their music often shifts between meditative passages, abstract soundscapes, rhythmic grooves, and explosive improvisational moments. Zach Muth’s guitar work brings a mix of jazz harmony, experimental effects, and rock-influenced texture, while Ashton Bailey contributes dynamic rhythmic and tonal interplay that grounds and destabilizes the music at the same time. Milovac’s bass playing acts as both anchor and catalyst, moving between lyrical melodic phrasing and avant-garde exploration.
