Maidstone-based Lowly Strung, an exhilarating five-piece Americana/bluegrass band, have built a large and passionate following across Kent and beyond for their vibrant and exciting blend of country and bluegrass music.
Comprised of Toby, James and Jonny Starks, together with Malcolm Peet and Jon Fuller, Lowly Strung released their debut album NO TOMFOOLERY to great acclaim and followed up with SULTANS OF STRINGS, the breadth of their experience is most evident in their vibrant, exciting and contagious live performances.
Sadly for their fans, this gig is (probably) their last, as members of the band move on to explore different opportunities.
Don’t miss this chance to see and hear them in the intimate setting of Bobbing Barn, a wonderful small music venue set in the Kent countryside, with a real ale bar and hot food available from our onsite burger bar – Alice’s Restaurant. Arrive early and you can put your name down for one of the open mic slots begore the concert.
Limited free onsite parking will be available with additional free parking a five minute walk from the venue.
