You are invited to take part in a fascinating community project exploring old photographs of Bideford from 1880 to the early 1940s, helping to uncover stories and fill in missing pieces of local history.
Bideford Community Representative Sadie Green and Caroline Preston, Community Engagement Lead at Beaford, will introduce the project and share highlights from the Beaford Old Archive.
You will also find out how to get involved by contributing your own photographs of Bideford from 1945 to 1971, adding to this growing community collection.
This workshop is open to anyone living in or around Bideford who is interested in local history, meeting others, and solving a few historical mysteries together.
The workshop will take place at Lavington Church Hall in Bideford, with access at the back of the church on Willett Street. All are welcome, and you are warmly encouraged to bring a friend.
Free refreshments will be served.
