Dear Fort Bragg Neighbors,

The City of Fort Bragg invites you to join us at the table! Get ready to connect with your community in a unique and joyful way. This is a free event happening on Sunday, October 5th, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, on Franklin Street in downtown Fort Bragg.

Imagine a long, welcoming table stretching down the street, filled with your neighbors, laughter, and good food. That's The Longest Table! It's a simple idea with a big impact: creating moments of joy and building stronger connections, one conversation at a time.

Here's how it works:

The City of Fort Bragg is providing the space, the tables, linens, and chairs. All you need to do is bring your own meal and beverage and take a seat at the table.

• Come Solo: It's a great opportunity to meet new people!
• Be a Table Captain: Want to gather your own crew? Become a Table Captain and organize your own group of family, friends, or colleagues for a potluck meal at your table. It's a fun way to share and enjoy!

Hungry for options?

• Local downtown restaurants will be encouraged to create convenient meal-kits for purchase.
• Food trucks will also be available on-site if you prefer to keep it simple.
• A local nonprofit will be selling beer and wine, but you're welcome to bring your own as well.

This event is truly about people talking to each other and connecting with neighbors. While we'll have live background music, the focus is on COMMUNITY and the conversations you'll share.

Everyone is invited! Singles, couples, families, and friends – all ages, all races, and even well-behaved leashed pets are welcome to join us.
