Theme: “Man in the Mirror”
Adams Education Group is dedicated to unlocking the creative potential of future beauty professionals through education, innovation, hands-on experiences, and career development. We empower students pursuing careers in cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, natural hairstyling, and nail technology by connecting them with industry professionals, the latest trends, innovative products, and advanced techniques.
Join us on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Brown Baptist Church, Family Enrichment Center, 980 Stateline Road East, Southaven, MS 38671, for an exciting day of education, competition, creativity, and networking!
We anticipate welcoming approximately 1,000 beauty and barber students from Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee for an unforgettable experience designed to inspire the next generation of industry leaders.
This year’s event will feature Masters of Education leading interactive Q&A sessions covering haircutting, hair coloring, natural hair, barbering, makeup, brows and lashes, healthy living, hair weaving, financial literacy, and more. With an innovative tradeshow atmosphere, students will have opportunities to connect with beauty professionals, explore current industry trends, gain state board exam preparation insights, and learn valuable skills for professional and personal success.
The excitement continues with student competitions in mannequin styling, makeup, lashes, fashion, and nails, along with the Future Master Barbers “Crossfire Man in the Mirror Competition,” featuring live models on stage. Competitors will showcase their clipper-cutting techniques, creative hairstyling, nail artistry, and technical skills for the opportunity to win cash prizes, trophies, and other gifts.
Our “Show Your Skills” category will provide barbering and cosmetology students—especially high school students enrolled in career and technical education programs—with valuable exposure to the competitive environment. Barbering students will cut hair on live models, while cosmetology students will style mannequins on stage, building confidence and gaining experience that can help prepare them for regional, state, and national competitions.
