This day party is a celebration of the loc journey! We loc because of freedom, we loc because it is beautiful, we loc because it is in our rights to do so! At first glance, The Loc Party mirrors the festive spirit of the classic block party that resonates in the inner-city and urban landscapes. Amidst the revelry of games, and melodies of hip-hop, reggae, and R&B, dancing, and laughter a deeper emergence of kinship and unity within the community will arise. Just as the traditional block party unites neighbors, my vision is to weave the tapestry of the loc community in a similar way. Amidst our diverse origins and complex histories, we find common ground in our shared journey with locs. So, You are invited on October 19th, 2024 to The Loc Party to Cranes Roost Park! The Day Party
This is where the vibes are at! We will be having our cocktail party, discussions, panels, workshops, hair show, and other entertainment inside the tower garden. We will set the stage and party! This is a paid event and tickets are available. The Block Party is free for all day-party ticket holders!
The Block Party!
The Block Party will be on the boulevard and it will be free to the public. You can come and enjoy, food, vendors, and games as you walk along the boulevard. If you want to access to the day party, a ticket is required.
Cranes Roost has beautiful scenery and views so feel free to come listen to music and eat good food!
